The Battpack is designed to be used with the iSun solar charger (purchased separately) and can be attached to it in several ways. However, it can be used independently as a NiMH battery charger and portable power pack to charge other portable devices. If you use it with the ISun the battery charger is very slow and will share the max. 290 ma charge rate from the ISun with all batteries that you use in the charger. i.e.- the more batteries you put into the BattPack the slower it ill charge them.
